The works comprise the design and construction of a 175m Underwater Search and Vehicle Block to replace the existing which was to be demolished.

The contract comprised a reinforced concrete floor slab, concrete block wall construction with a timber / steel pitched roof complete with power and lighting.

The site is entirely within a live operational area of Lancashire Constabulary’s HQ, requiring 24-hour access to be maintained at all times.

The works also included the demolition of existing buildings and external works comprising drainage, a concrete apron and a new waste recycling compound.
